Terry, dont be sorry. I was going down a bad road with the wrong group of people and living the druggy meth head life and it got me away from that lifestyle and got me back to where I needed to be and showed me who my real friends were and who really cared for me. It was a blessing in disguise. One day I will be back on a bike. They have ways for us wheelchair bound people to get back on 2 wheels. I dont want to ride a trike, have always thought they were a bike with training wheels. It will happen one day. People say I inspire them all the time but I'm not trying to, just living my life the way I want and thats not setting on the couch wasting my life away feeling sorry for myself. Thanks for writing me.

Thanks Roger and don't be sorry bout the accident. I was going down a real bad road heading towards jail or death with hard drug and the wrong crowd. The accident might have taken my lower half from being used but I got out of the crowd, got away from the girl I was with, Found GOD again and 3 years later found my wonderful wife. Here I am 4 yrs post injury and I'm loving life. I can do everything everybody else does, just in a different way. It might take me a lil' longer to do the same thing but it still gets done. By the grace of God I'm still here to talk to you and have fun doing what I do!!

Welcome to Lumberjocks I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, I'm sure you will.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope everything is going well for you now. Pen turning is not something that I am familiar with, but I know you came to the right place to get some help. Good Luck with it.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get - or give - advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it's best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

    Please enjoy your membership.
