Lumber Jocks,

Here is a list I made up for looking for Holiday sales for wood working supplies and tools. I would expect that most of you know about all these sites. However, if you see on that is new to you then, it was worth my time to create and post this list.

As with all my links that I have, I update the list from time to time.

Thanks for the list. Pretty comprehensive, I’d say. I love the woodpecker stuff. Here are a few sites on my list that are more materials, parts and supplies focused.

http://www.reidsupply.com/ (good source for jig parts, and supplies galore)

http://www.amazonsupply.com/ (more specialized department of amazon)

http://www.dccasters.com/ (every caster made)

http://www.carrlane.com/ (where do I start, the 84mb .pdf catalog is worth the visit alone)

http://www.mcmaster.com/ (ditto, all the bits and pieces, and more)

http://www.woodworkersworkshop.com/ (a little bit of every kind of free and for purchase woodworking plans)

http://www.woodstockint.com/ (I think I used this company more for replacement parts)

http://www.t-molding.com/store/home.php (on the rare occasion you need non-wood molding)

-- God is great, wood is good. Let us thank Him for wood......and old hand tools.

Have your say...
