Walt's Workshop

Wilmington, De 19808
United States

Hi, I’m Walt. This is my home based workshop. It is 23 ft long and 12 ft wide. Included in my shop are a Table saw, a drill press, a chop saw station, router station and scroll saw. I mostly use hand tools for prepping projects that I do for fun. Returning to woodwork after not touching any woodworking machinery since my 9th grade shop class in High School.

My shop is has been rearranged and is now fully connected to dust collection from all power equipment. The Chop saw has a dedicated shop vacuum everything else connects to a main dust collection duct via blast gates. much easier to keep clean. Next project will be to enclose the ceiling with sheet rock to keep overhead dust from getting into the shop. Further update forthcoming

Walt, this is a nice shop that you have to work in. It looks well organized and you have a nice collection of tools to play with. I like the way you have incorporated pegboard in your shop. It is pretty good for organizing hand tools and keeping them ready for use.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Very nice! Makes the 4’7” between the clothes dryer and car in my garage look pretty small.

If that’s messy, clean must be surgical!
