Nicholas- I'm glad to find you here on LumberJocks..your work is beautiful, and I especially like the oval box with dovetailed drawers. Very fine work!
I was in your hometown in August 2007, when my daughter's family took us from the Edelweiss Resort to Gasthof Werdenfelser Sof for dinner, where we could see Bavarian dancers. I liked your town's streets and businesses. Loved Bavaria!
I hope to see many more projects posted on Lumberjocks!

welcome to lumberjocks, glad to hear you want to move to canada. have you been here?I have lived all across canada, and i am quite curious why you would chose quebec or new brunswick. I know the hardwood forests there are beautiful, but that Dosen't make up for the fact that you can have days of minus sixty five celcius with the windchill.
you may want to try a visit to British Columbia or newfoundland. They are my 2 favorites, mostly for the freedom of having vast expanses of nothing but wilderness. yet still having services.

Welcome to LJ! I'm actually living in Germany myself until May. I've probably spent 3 months all together in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I'll be spending another month down there soon for some training (Brietenau / Artillery Kaserne).

I'll second jm82435's thoughts. I'd have a hard time moving AWAY from GAP.
