I'm a 34 year old Information Technology Consultant in Seattle, WA. My old man taught me to be "handy" from a young age and I grew up with no fear of tools. As soon as I bought my first house, I started populating my shop. I was lucky to have some disposable income so I didn't have to buy contractor tools and work my way up, I bought good woodworking tools and had a modest shop within 2 years. I only have about a dozen small projects under my belt but they increase in complexity each time.
