Hollowing out wood - 8 replies Hi folks, I was asked to try to replicate this item and frankly I’m stumped as to how to go hollowing out the middle part. Finishing for bread cutting board - 2 replies I usually finish vegetable and meat cutting boards with mineral oil. Should the same be done with bread boards? Or do I have a little more leeway as to the finish there? Thanks again to all lumberjocks. |

Table top advice - 8 replies I am designing an end table from scratch. I have found a gorgeous piece of maple for the top and think it would be a sin to rip it and glue it up into a panel for the sake of stability. Is there a good way of making a one piece solid top?
