Thanks everyone for the great response and advise. I agree that LumberJocks is very addictive. So I decided to concentrate on detailed designing of the Wall unit.

Being a newbie to cabinet making several basic problems came to my mind and of-course LJ is the place where I found the solutions to them in the last two days. Now as I proceed here is the corner of the wall in front of me with a concrete pillar sticking out.

I am planning to construct the cabinet corner with same profile keeping a gap of 1/2” to 1” to compensate irregularities as the corners are not exactly 90 degree.

Please guide me whether this is a proper way to tackle the situation, the shelves and sides will be of 3/4” ply.

I don’t think I would try to copy the profile exactly.
I’ve been building built in cabinets in my own house and I find that houses don’t follow predictable shapes and giving that corner feature some extra “elbow room” will make your life more pleasant!
