My journey in woodworking began out of necessity rather than want. Not having the money to hire anyone to fix or do things, I quickly taught myself. Luckily, it has turned into a want and a passion.

I’m more of a gawker than anything. I have the desire to work on projects, just not the time. I am the proud dad to two of the most beautiful girls in the world. My first one is 2 and my second is exactly 2 years and one day behind her sister---she’s about 2 weeks now. Since I spend most of my time, free and otherwise, with my family, I at least get to spend this part of my life building my tool collection. When I do get time to work on something, I at least have access to any tool I can dream of, as well as many experienced friends and family to draw from.

I have seen some true artisans on this web site and sincerely appreciate your work and willingness to share your skill.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
