I'm now on my 3rd lathe, a Vicmarc VL300CS. So far my modest shop consists of my lathe, sharpening system, bandsaw, and a tabletop drill press that a friend has let me borrow. I love all aspects of woodworking, but hope to call myself a woodturner someday and do the name justice. I'm working on my turning as often as I can, and hope to be able to inspire you guys (and gals) the way that you guys (and gals) continually inspire me. Work safe, and have fun. -Craig

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

In response to your question about glue for spectra ply, I would definitely use CA glue over anything else. Stay away from using any glue that would expand. I personally use a thick CA glue, it seems to work best for me.

Have your say...
