673 posts in 883 days Location: Waukegan, IL I am a mechanical designer by trade but I would much rather be home designing and making my own ideas. I really got interested in woodworking about seven years ago when I bought my house and finally had my own shop. I have a lot of fun trying to come up with ideas that wow my friends...and at the same time try and get them interested in the hobby. I do not like making the same thing twice so my projects will look very different from one another. Thank you all for the great welcome. I have looked around the site for a while, looking at all the great projects, and finally got the time to join it. I met a handful of you at the Chicago Woodworking show….that was nice that you had a booth! Hopefully I can fully figure this out and post a couple projects I did in the recent past!
