I built an oversized 3 car garage for my woodshop. In case I sell the house, i wanted it to be useable for someone else.

Jet 10” left tilt table saw(w/entension and takeoff table)
Delta 16” drill press
Jet 10” drum sander
Jessum Router table with Porter Cable router
Rigid 13” planer
Grizzly 12” jointer-spiral indexible blades
Rigid 12”Combination Saw
Craftsman 10” Radial Arm Saw (dadoes only)
Akeda 16” dovetail machine
JDS 1.5 hp vac for Radial Arm, combo saw and work surfaces. (attic mounted, remote controlled)
Penn State Tempest “S” Cyclone Vac system for the rest of the shop.(attic mounted, remote controlled)

Hi Tricky,

You have a very nice shop. I noticed you have a PS Tempest with the 3.5 hp motor mounted in your attic. I just purchased the same unit but mine won’t fit in the attic and I have just finished mounting it on the wall. I certainly hope I will like it although PS states that its sound level of 75db, they must have measured this from a few houses down. I haven’t attached any ducting so far so perhaps this will quieten the thing down a bit. You stated you ran 7” pipe for your trunk lines. Would you be willing to elaborate how you ducted your unit?
