Free Teak From Craigslist

I just scored a free solid teak coffee table this morning on Craigslist, which I have just disassembled after bringing it home. The guy that had it lives just 3 blocks from my place. The table top measures 44”x33”x 5/8” thick. He acquired it years ago from his parents. He said he no longer had room for it, but he just wanted it to go to a good home. I assured him that it was indeed going to a good place. Future jewelry boxes and keepsake boxes coming up.

Awesome score, it pays to keep an eye out. Plus only 3 blocks away…it was like a double score.

I love CL!!!

I check it morning, noon and night (and then some)! You never know what or when the next great score will be. A true bargin is usually gone PDQ, one has to jump on them before anybody else.

Congrats for your score!

Excellent find…with teak now around $27 a bd ft you did great. I remember buying teak back in the 70’s & 80”s when it was around $4.50 bd ft.

Dang! Some guys have all the luck! Good score!!! I’m a Craigslist fanatic. Things being what they are I cant afford to buy wood. So 95% of what I use is from CL. But most of it is oak. Hey, I’m not complaining. Its free.

The free wood I find on CL is always in the form of pallets. You hit the jackpot! Enjoy.
