At the young age of 65, I decided to take up the hobby of making woodcrafts, particularly items created with the scroll saw. My garage has now become my workshop, with tools consisting of a drill press, table saw, 3 routers and a router table, a Delta 6 1/8" jointer/planer, 13-inch thickness planer, belt/disc sander, drum sanders, oscillating spindle sander, circular saw, jig saw, biscuit joiner, mitre saw, a workbench and 3 work tables, power sander, portable power planer, Dremel rotary tool with 100's of attachments, many other miscellaneous tools, and of course my scroll saw. Needless to say, my wife is unable to put her car in the garage anymore, but that's the least of my worries, because I enjoy spending time in my new workshop making sawdust. Aawww.. the smell of sawdust and fresh coffee in the morning! I'm also into photography, a wedding photographer for many years and also media photography with press credentials. I have had the pleasure of photographing Kenny Rogers and also Alan Jackson. I also fly with and photograph aerobatic pilots each year at the Abbotsford International Airshow.
