Wow….that’s about all I can think when I look at what is contained on this one DVD. I just received “THe Best of Fine Woodworking” , one of the prizes for the Summer Challenge (Thank you all again BTW).
What an amazing treasure trove of knowledge that is sitting on a tray in my laptop. If you don’t subscribe to FWW online, and even if you do, this is a great library.
It’s a very straightforward interface. You can search by keywords, or a simple set of pulldown menus.
For example:
Skills and Techniques, Joinery, Dovetail Joints
Yeilds 26 articles on dovetails and you can list by title, author, and date.

Bob. I couldn’t agree more. I received mine and put it in the drive to see that it worked. But the Veritas plane arrived at the same time as the DVD. So I headed to the workshop first.
I’ve got the years subscription to the online so It will be interesting to see what is on one of them and not on the other.
I’ve been dowloading the online Fine Woodworking articles that I find and like to my hard drive. So I guess I won’t have to do that any more. I might see if I can copy the full dvd to my harddrive for faster searching.
