With apologies to Monty Python!
I finally got my LJ T-shirt. I’ll be wearing it this 4th amongst crowds of 1,000’s and anyone that asks about it will get one of the LJ flyers for the summer project. Of course my wife says I look scary so I might not get many asking.

Well, you do look just a tad unhappy in this shot. I don’t know why, you’re in a beautiful spot and you’ve got your LumberJocks shirt. Try smiling just a little more on the 4th. ;^) Maybe the sun was in your eyes?

Well spread the word. If they don’t want to talk. Stand in front of them and give them that look.

You would look a little tired if you stayed up all night blogging.
” I hang around sawmills and wear silly aprons.”
It has been many years since I last saw Monty Python.
What is the next line

Lol…I guess I didn’t look to closely at this photo. I do not look like a happy lumberjock. In my defense the sun was in my eyes and I had a headache.
I may resort to that Karson….6’4” 280 lbs with a black cutoff t-shirt and a scowl on my face. Makes you just want to come up and say “Hi Nice Shirt….what’s a Lumberjock? Maybe I should just hand them out to anyone that looks scared.
Thanks for noticing Don…..:)
Me too Dennis…..I’m afraid all I know for sure is the chorus but for some reason I remember…
‘On Wednesdays he goes shopping
and has buttered scones with tea”
and then it gets even more bizarre…Monty Python after all…something about wearing women’s clothing and hanging out in bars….....certainly not true Lumberjock behavior….at least not since last weekend….LOL

Just do a google search (if you want the actual lyrics) or download them from my brain! – As for the Lumberjocks version… (which I think is what you’re challenging us to come up with) well, I guess we’ll just have to do something about that!
I cut down trees, mill some boards, and like to press veneers,
I put on safety goggles, and ear plugs in my ears. (or – and get sawdust in my beer?)
Too bad you didn’t get the sleeveless T last week there Bob. It’s FREEZING up here now that it’s July (and June lulled us into a false sense of extreme global warming)

Bob:
The shirt looks good on you and for the time being at least you wont get lost on July 4th.
“Look for the guy in the blue shirt with lumberjocks on the front.”
He will give you Candy! <vbg>

Too funny…...what a bizarre bunch of guys. We should follow Scott’s lead and create an adaptation for LJ. Martin could embed it in the home page…LOL.
