Hey Treebones I just checked out your website. I must say I really like the work you do. I have often dreamed of having my own mill and doing exactly what you do, now I know it can be done.
Also I really like the "Shadow Box" that you had on the web-site. Those are some of my favorite projects and that one is a good one. Keep up the good work.

    Ron,

Thank you for your compliment on my work. I like the rustic work you do and really like the live edge table and burl table.

I wish I had some of that Quarter Sawn Black Oak to make some clocks and frames from, it would look really nice…...

I'm going to be doing the holiday shop (santa's work shop) for a few of the local schools in my area ! I'm looking for ideas for fast , easy projects with little cost to make , so I can donate them for the under privileged childeren to give to their parents for the holidays (x-mas & such) . Childern of all walks of life also find joy in giving to their parents and other family members on the holidays , It gives them a sense of pride, and happyness! The school asks that I make sure that it would be something of a non-religious background to all cultures !If anyone has any plans or ideas please send them to me soon december 17th is my deadline. Thank you everyone that took the time to read this !Happy thanks giving!!!!!

The trees are located in Tehama County just outside Red Bluff off of Jelly's Ferry exit. The man is from Paradise. An expert is definately what we need. My dad is still leaning toward the older gentleman however if I can find something/one to offer a second opinion there could be an intervention. It definately looks like you have experience and knowledge. Apparently the trees are already marked and charted out marking each tree's value. Another one of my dad's workers set up for someone he found? to come out on Wednesday. My dad is itching to get this settled that's way I am stressed. Thank you again.

I have a customer that I would see once in a while that made and sold horses like the one that you make without the tool section. One of his biggest client is Home Depot. I like your idea with the tool section.
Have you ever thought about going to big companies to sell them to. Dixieline or Lowe could sell them.
Hire some kids for the summer and make a few thousand of them.
I was going to work part-time at his shop but the company I was working for at the time went on strike. It lasted 5 months and I'm happy I didn't work for him. It wasn't going to pay the bills.
Btw- welcome. To bad you are not in Southern Calif. I would be coming bye to BS.
    Later-
    Richard

Glad to see you made it here. I've seen your posts on craigslist for a while and have had your web site book marked. Welcome to the gang. I'm down in Sacramento.
