My 12×16 shop. The ever evolving multipurpose workshop. This year should see some major changes since it is time to upgrade a few tools and in the process will look at changing the layout to get everything in place. I can’t wait to replace my current “bandsaw” and table saw with some better quality tools and time for the L shaped work table to find a new home. Currently everything is mobile with some of the smaller stuff stationary since I use it more often for making fishing lures. However I have enjoyed doing some larger projects and am tired of the time spent working around the current issues.

I have been in the market for a band saw and have read about the one shown here. How do you like it?

The bandsaw was fine for what I was using it for, mainly cutting out lure blanks for fishing lures. I did use it for other projects also but it is very much an introductory level bandsaw. Taking the time to set it up properly helps but the limitations were becoming more of an issue. I plan on replacing it soon with a Grizzly G0555LX.
