WS3000 jig for router plane blades.

Trying to sharpen my router plane blades by hand was taking way too long and kind of frustrating. So I came up with a jig to hold the blades on my Worksharp. Trying to hold them free hand wasn’t working so well, they would catch and I would end up with multiple facets and an edge that wasn’t straight. So I came up with a simple jig to hold the blades at the proper angle (about 35 degrees). Its simply a small block of wood with a v-groove down the middle to hold the blade, and is glued to a small board that is clamped to the backside of the work surface. It works great with the 1/2” blade, the 1/4” blade takes a delicate touch to keep every thing square. ...
