So I purchased a Jawhorse folding sawhorse a few weeks ago. I’m definitely impressed with the quality and function of this product. I was able to shave a couple hours off my project since I had an extra set of “hands” to help me out. I’ll be posting more of my experiences here with this product as well, but just wanted to give an initial review of the product.

Another tool on my list to buy is the SoniCrafter oscillating tool . Has anybody had any luck with this tool? There’s a few others out there, but this one seems to give the best bang for the buck.

TrafficCopSmith,

Let me welcome you to LJs. I am sure that you will find being a member of this group to be an interesting, as well as exciting, experience. Have fun and enjoy.

With respect to your posts they will get read by more members if you add them as a blog or forum topic. Also you can do a search in the reviews section for both items. There have been some reviews posted for both of these. Here is a search for Jawhorse and here is a search for sonicrafter.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
