Hand saw help?!?!? - 3 replies

I bought a Disston sway back saw this morning. I think it is a D-8. The etching is difficult to read. Is there a good way to enhance the etching? The blade fairly clean, with minimal rust. I know, pics would help. I haven’t got the camera out yet. Thanks in advance. Tim

Walnut help - Something new for me - 8 replies

Mostly I make small items, like boxes and pens. Then I try to maximize and highlght the color variations in Walnut. I recently started making a walnut coffee table.
