Part 1: Request for shop made air filtation system suggestions
I was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer last Tuesday and will be having the top lobe of my lright lung removed shortly. Yes I was a smoker for 49 years. The CAT scan and PET scans show that it has not spread and is only in that one spot so the prognosis is great. I am staying positive and have been “smoke free” for almost a week now. Hi gang, I hope I can keep this short and share my news. Had lung surgery Dec 21st, got all the cancer removed; was told no chemo or radiation needed; developed an air leak post-op that kept me in the hospital until Jan 11th when surgeon went in again; found I had coughed really hard in the ICU and ripped internal stitches loose and tore a hole in the lung…got that all fixed and sealed…discharged home Jan 17th…developed a paralyzed intestine as a result of all the medication...
