Part 1: English Garden Bench

As you guys know I am building this in my shop class. I know that Norm did this project and I prchased his plans. I modified them because the Bench would be like 6 foot long! I need some help choosing a wood type. White Oak, Cypress, or Teak are some choices, but I know that Teak is very expensive. Also, does anyone have a review on the Domino? How well does it work for replacing a mortise? Well if you guys can help me out please let me know!
