Location: Spring Branch, Texas

I am a somewhat novice woodworker, though many years ago, I did quite a bit of work around boats in the Great Lakes area. We moved to Texas 4 years ago after I retired from teaching in California. I just recently built a shop in our backyard and am currently building a workbench, a stand for my drill press and enclosing some storage shelves. Previously, I built a patio bench, firepit and wood benches and a small splitrail type fence using native moutain cedar.

Welcome Tom. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hey Tom, Welcome to LumberJocks. Thanks for reminding me to check in every once in a while. Between Woodworking, Photography, and Amateur Radio, I don’t have time to get bored these days.
