I’m not sure anyone here remembers little old me or not, but I wanted to let everyone who may remember me know that I am actually still alive. Going through my grandmother’s stuff took a LOT longer than I thought, and then my wife insisted that we paint before we move in (translation: Tom paint and she complain about how long it’s taking ;) ). We just got moved in a few weeks ago and are still trying to get settled in.
Frankly, I missed woodworking. I began to think I wasn’t cut out for it, but still figured that no one starts off creates great works for art from the get go. After a slight change in work schedules, I find that I’ll have more time on my hands and spending months on end working on a house has made it impossible for me to sit for to long! Trust me…I’m not complaining :)
Instead, my plan THIS time is to do some simple projects from the books I’ve got, just to get some of the basics down. My little old Workmate should do fine for this stuff and I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. What’s sad is that I forgot almost everything I had learned. Luckily, my blog posts about lessons learned are still here for me to make reference too and jog the old memory.
I’m just looking forward to being back on LJ and making some cool stuff. ;)

Woohoo!!!
I have been wondering what was going on with you. It is simply wonderful having you back here, I am just glad you didn’t forget about us because I assure you that we have not forgotten about you.
You just made my day!!!!!!

Thanks Scott! It’s good to be remembered…and apparently remembered fondly.
Either that, or I was great joke fodder. Either way, I’ll take it as a win :D

Sure thing :)
It’s just good to know I haven’t been forgotten. People seem to remember me better online than in real life.
It’s kind of sad now that I think about it ;)

Hey man . . . welcome back. I wondered what happened.
Did you ever get that bench completed?
Great to have you back.
