I wanted to design a bookcase that would be a bit of a challenge to build, but not out of the range of the average hobbiest woodworker. I incorporated the turnings in the design to breakup the right angles and give it a greek revival look. The height is just over 5’ and the width is 3 ½ ‘ . I invision this piece being made out of either Cherry or Mohagany with a darker stain and a high gloss top coat. For some reason I was unable to make a dxf of my design, so I included an edrawing version along with a PDF. I hope you like it.
I am unable to resize my first picture so it displays correctly. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks,
-- Todd, Richfield MN

Hi Todd,
Your bookcase looks interesting.
Good luck in the contest.
