Name is Tim, Most people call me Toolmaster because of the large amount of tools I have gathered over the years as a welder and equipment mechanic. I enjoy Fishing, Hunting and Shooting Sporting Clays. Back about 2001 I built my on shop here at the house and started working for myself. Picked up a USA building from a friend that was a salesman for them, 60’x60’ with 18’ eves 3-12 pitch roof, 6” 400psi slab, 3 – 16’x16’ doors and 3 – 4ox7o walk in doors, 3 phase power. It has served me well over the years, but due to health reasons I have had to give up the welding and repair work. Shop has been sitting idle for about 2 years now and the wife has talked me into start trying some wood working projects.
Over the last few months I have been gathering up some tools. So far the list is 13” Planer, 6 1/2” joiner, Table Saw, Miter Saw, Small band saw, 2 Routers and a box full of Pocket hole jig tools (the blue kind). All this to go along with the Band saws(2), Drill Press, air & elect drills that I had for the metal work I was doing. The plan is to take make a 20’x20’ section of the shop into a woodworking area. I may have to change the size up a bit depending on the cost of building supply’s that will let me have a clear span and still have a 2nd floor for storage.
At this time I have been looking at Dust Collectors, and will most likely order one this week. Just got to make sure I can add tools to it down the road as the $$ & wife will allow.
More to some L8R.
Thanks Tim L.
