Hi Gang, Happy New Year. Thanks for the warm welcome.
I just bought a wood lathe and am looking forward to learning some from the group here. I’ve never turned wood so I’m looking forward to jumping in. I work with a lathe at my job, cutting aluminum and steel for prototype building, but holding a tool right to the work will be interesting.
Thanks again.
Take care,
Tom

Welcome to lumberjocks. I am not a lathe expert. Far from it. I have bought a used one to start playing around with to learn though. I look forward to seeing you around lumberjocks. Don’t be shy. Jump right in with any questions and there are a lot of experienced turners here who I’m sure will help all they can.
