First segmented bowl
I tried doing a segmented bowl using beech and black walnut veneer for accents to give it a brick and mortar look. The beech was cut on my bandsaw at 45 degree angles and stacked. The bandsawn pieces were a good way to maximize the flat but assure...

Welcome Tim. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. I think it would be interesting for us to read more about you and your wife helping with ‘a woodworking vocational training venture near Phnom Penh, Cambodia’. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hello Tim,

Thanks everyone. I’m really feeling welcome and really appreciate it. Be patient with me in getting up to speed on posting and stuff. I have some pics to add soon and will enjoy networking with you all.
Just started a Facebook page and having nothing but problems with it. Can’t even access it half the time, although it worked just fine for the first ten days or so. Mostly wanted to have a generic site for sharing project photos and some social networking. Very disappointed with it. I”m ready to abandon that and just go with Lumberjocks.
I am already enjoying peeking at your projects. Thanks!
