Location: Everett, WA
Website:

Novice woodworker with most of the usual toys. Doing some home remodeling but hope to get to smaller woodworking projects and furniture. Enjoy turning and have done some cabinets, veneering. Hope to do some threaded boxes, natural edge bowls with intriguing woods, etc.

My wife and I help with a woodworking vocational training venture near Phnom Penh, Cambodia associated with a Christian mission. For about 2.5 years now - very enjoyable experiences. Work takes me around the US and internationally. I hope to visit woodworkers wherever I travel.

I'm looking forward to making new friends who enjoy working with wood and am already benefitting from LJ member's skills and creativity.

Welcome Tim. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. I think it would be interesting for us to read more about you and your wife helping with ‘a woodworking vocational training venture near Phnom Penh, Cambodia’. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hello Tim,

Thanks everyone. I’m really feeling welcome and really appreciate it. Be patient with me in getting up to speed on posting and stuff. I have some pics to add soon and will enjoy networking with you all.

Just started a Facebook page and having nothing but problems with it. Can’t even access it half the time, although it worked just fine for the first ten days or so. Mostly wanted to have a generic site for sharing project photos and some social networking. Very disappointed with it. I”m ready to abandon that and just go with Lumberjocks.

I am already enjoying peeking at your projects. Thanks!
