Thanks to everyone on your warm welcome to LJ's. I love this site!!!
In case you're curious, my last surgery (neck) was December 2nd and 3rd (yes, 2 days, 15 hours total). They removed 2 vertebre and fused everything from C2-T2, so pretty much, my entire neck. My arms used to go completely numb every time I raised them above my head. In March 2010 I set the hook on a nice bass with my spinning reel and lost almost all the use of my right arm for more than 6 months. After viewing my MRI, the surgeon consulted with the other 5 doctors at the Texas Spine Consultants office and they all agreed it was the worst neck MRI any of them had ever seen.
If anyone is thinking about ANY type of back/neck/spine surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Kendall Carll at Texas Spine Consultants in Dallas at Baylor Hospital 214 370-3535.
I haven't worked on very many projects lately because of bone spur issues with my right shoulder and arm that are completely unrelated to my surgery. I should be "good to go" very soon and look forward to completing several projects that were started a couple of years ago.
