Using up some scrap and creating something useful for the shop. A marking gauge is a great tool to have in any shop.

What did you use for the marker/cutter? I saw in the video where you cut a small piece of metal but I couldn’t tell if it was a nail, jigsaw blade or something else.

I used a finishing nail. Predrilled a hole about 3/4” from the end and tacked the cut nail in. No glue though incase I need to replace it.
