I was planning on sandblasting the table saw parts. It would be quick and easier I believe. However, I was not able to get that done, so I went with traditional ways…..a bit of elbow grease. That's funny. Before even looking at your video, I was going to say go with Iron Man (the movie) colors. If I ever get back to the restoration, I'm painting my 1940's mythical $300 Unisaw with Incra/Iron Man colors.
Lots of rust removed and a bit of spray paint and this is turning out great! I really like the color scheme that is slowly starting to happen. Next week this gets finished and I get the first project done on this old machine. Hit that subscribe button to follow along!
Those old tools have an endearing "classic" look that is hard to beat, kind of like pre 1965 cars. Play some oldies on the shop stereo and get cutting!
