First Adirondak Chair

Blog entry by Tim Charles posted 65 days ago 186 reads 0 times favorited 1 comment Add to Favorites Watch

I’ve almost finished my first adirondak chair. I had got 13 scrap (3ft long) pieces of treated deck planks and didn’t want to put them to waste. I cut and finished the back of the chair yesterday. I have cut out the seat area/legs, but have not put them together yet. The seat doesn’t run in the traditional way most of the chairs run, but I still think it looks good. Hopefully I will be able to get out to the shop later and finish it. I will be posting a picture when it is done. You can visit my website (still in the process of building the site/learning how to create it) and view “in the process” pictures. www.asliceofwoodworkshop.com

I checked out your website and it looks pretty cool. I know my Adriondack chair that I built it for my Dad. You post some of those pictures in the gallery.
