Made dowels for 1/4” joints (panels) using dowel plate. Started to do the same for the 3/8” but decided to buy dowel stock. All my best efforts to make things square and I found some out of square when fitting the drawers. Making the drawers I used a simple shooting board to sneak up on a tight fit. Made out of square as needed by adding tape to fence of shooting board. Simple. Cheap. Fool proof. Next up making dovetailed drawers.
