I'm a beginning woodworker, but long time artist (painter and digital artist). I'm 36 and am looking to gather the knowledge to produce sculptural and small furniture pieces. I'm interested in developing carving, texturing, finishing and joinery techniques. I have an unhealthy love for wood.

I use mostly hand tools for four reasons:
No noise
No dust
I can feel the wood
I'm not doing it for money :)
