I built this workshop in 2010. It is 18’-6” wide by 40’ long. Workshop is approximately 500 sq. Feet, music studio in back eats up the remainder.
Everything runs on 110v and I have vac. And electricity in the center of the floor via a chase out to the exterior wall, so no tripping over vac. Hoses or extension cords.
Dust collection is plentiful, with a Delta 1 HP collector in it’s own closet with my air compressor, a 6hp shop vac at the table saw, and a Jet air filter on the ceiling.

Nicely organized.
Like the way you have your table saw hand tools close by but out of the way…..........................

Nice shop. It looks like it would be a pleasure to work in a shop like that.

It is a pleasure most of the time, Charles! It’s laid out to be as efficient as possible and flow with my work habits. I’ve rebuilt everything at least twice, improving as I go. The table saw area was just rebuilt to accept two adjacent table saws, my router, planer, shop vac, as well as associated storage and an out feed table. This way, I don’t have to change blades as often. The Hitachi can either be used for bevel rips, or a dedicated dado saw. The Beisemeyer fence was modified to accommodate all three pieces, so one fence can be used on all three . Also, the out feed table removes with two screws, so I can move stuff around and easily get into the back of the saws if need be.

Dual table saws…. Iv’e only ever seen that in a production shop, and they looked like they were blocks apart from each other.

Nice Shop, where’s the studio pic’s :)

Yeah, it took some serious drilling and tapping to get these saws together under one fence, but it works well! Everything is parallel, and having one fence for everything is a time/space saver!
