I work for Sauder Village, the largest living history museum in Ohio, as their Master Cooper in the Black Swamp Cooperage. When not there, you'll find me in my own shop!

Welcome to LJ. I think you’ll enjoy coming here for ideas, advice, and just to show off your work.

Very Nice work Indeed!

Master Cooper Also. Another “GOOD”! I’ve watched many TV shows on the making of Barrels for Wine/Whisky/Bourbon/Beer (Guinness). Always enjoy them. In my opinion it’s an ART.

Also Love this Picture. You’re pointing this little guy down a road that he’ll not forget. GOOD For You!

Thanks For Sharing.

Thanks Rick! Thats my little buddy and apprentice Tyler! He did a great job for me! Looking forward to the next three or four years with him! Anytime he visited the village with his parents, he’d run into the Cooper Shop and grab a broom and sweep the floor before moving on! Great young man!!!
