I am a self-employed customer woodworker. Most of my work is commercial in nature with library furniture being the largest percentage. I can and will produce just about anything an individual, business, designer, architect, or contractor needs or wants.
Background: I've messed around with woodworking since about 13-14 years of age. Went to college for a BS in industrial tech and business/marketing and started working for a small wood products manufacturing business. Worked there for nine years in various management capacities ending with Director Of Manufacturing (basically an umbrella meaning I pretty much oversee everything and I'm responsible for anything and everything whether it is good or bad) and helped multiply sales by several hundred percent as we grew from 13 employees to well over 50. Though I was compensated well, I grew tired of the owner dangling carrots ("ownership opportunities") to make me work longer and harder and said goodbye to being a workaholic in Dec 03.
Hobbies: Planting and growing trees for the future, "thinking about" restoring my 62 Ford Thunderbird and 66 Chrysler 300 convertible. My biggest hobby is four wheeling, more specifically what we call "overlanding" which is vehicle dependent expedition style travel and I make several trips west each year to explore what we all own, our public lands.
