I am a project manager for a construction company in Fort Worth, TX. I started daydreaming about woodworking about 3 years ago and have just recently started acquiring enough tools to do some real damage. I run a small woodworking side business and typically have a commission going on or at least have an iron in the fire. When I don't I am usually making something for my home or working on a gift. I incorporate metal and glass into many of my projects, some of which are not posted here. I spend my shop time about 50-50 on commissions vs personal stuff. I'm a hybrid guy so I love my unisaw and my 20" powermatic bandsaw, but I also love my handplanes and my scrapers. All tools have a place in my shop. My woodworking heroes are Sam Maloof and Wharton Esherick. I like sort of off the wall stuff - not really modern but also not really traditional either. I like to build stuff that is sort of out in left field.

How I approach Craigslist So, if you have hung around LJ’s enough, you have all probably gotten used to seeing craigslist forums and hearing craigslist references. I am a pretty devout craigslist user and have come to realize what an interestin...
