It's a Duck, maybe an Eagle, Naw it's a knot off a log.! - 5 replies

Out cutting some wood today and a old downed maple in the foreground caught my eye so I went over, it was pretty punky but it had a cool knott on the side so I cut it off. I mounted it to a light board for a better perspective.

Parallel clamp hack - 7 replies

I needed a different clamping method and this setup was simple and could be used in a lot of different angles. I took the rear screw and threaded pins and reversed it to keep both handles at the top and out of the way. The 8 sided post is 8” long and I drilled a 1/2” hole thru the center for the front screw to go thru. Instead of...

Diamond in the rough ! - 11 replies

You don’t find them like this very often, 100 yr old and still has the milling lines on the sole. What I like the most about these 608 sizes is the way they fit your hand. They make a great little smoother and your fingers are clear of the adjustments. I’m almost tempted to put this one into service but better judgement says...

E-Baybidders-makemyheadItch !?? - 40 replies

Just a little rant. Why not put an item in your watch list and wait to do your bidding on the last day or hour ? Case in point, an item is listed on a 7 day auction and in the first day and a half it has reached its worth. Don’t get me wrong, this is good for a seller but as a buyer I think this works against getting a decent bargain and...
