We own and operate a Woodmizer Lt 40 bandsaw so we have access to many different kinds and shapes of wood. We are always looking for different ideas for projects. We make custom signs from red cedar and other types of wood. We have an antique, flea market shop that takes up a lot of our time. You can find us at many of the local farm auctions looking for bargins.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words. This looks like it will be a fun place to hang out.
The top of the benches are nailed to the legs with 12 inch nails! Most of the time he can get the nails all the way in but if it bends he has a few choice words then just cuts off the top of the nail.

Wow, you have some nice bench stuff going on there, looks great! Natural edge benches are one of my favorite projects, also cut from my LT40HD. This is a great web site, I’ll be looking for more of your work.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Every one using their day off for projects? We thought about it but decided we better get under the house and fix the water leak this afternoon instead of making more benches. We have orders for at least 4 more benches so will probably do that tomorrow.

I checked out your website and think that you have a very awesome thing going here. I like that they are all different. I showed a friend with a cabin your website and thought he might want to buy one. Instead, he looked at me and said I should make him one. I think he missed the point. I read earlier that you use a router. I was wondering if you use the router to do the trees and people, etc. or if they are just painted on. You are really good at free handing. Also, I saw that you wanted an engraver. I bet a dremel tool would do wonders. I don’t have one but put it on the tool list for the future.

Thank you for checking out my website and thank you for the kind words. Yes, the people and trees, anything painted is cut with the router. I am not a good painter so it helps to use the router. I can then slap the black paint on then when it dries I just sand it with the belt sander and all my mess is gone. I haven’t use a dremel but I do use the small dremel bits in a rotozip tool for the small detail work.
Sounds like you have another project in the works. Feel free to use any of my designs and make the man a sign.
