Hey Joe!!! I LOVED BENSON!! My brother and I still call each other "du bois" for our term as "bro"...Ie….he says: "Hey Du bois, whats up?" He doesnt remember how he started using the term but I date it back to the show of your profile picture…

Anyways…I want to let you know I am the official LJ certifier--if you are learning, sharing, and having fun…you are an officially certified LJ…Welcome…(a bit belated)...

    Greetings, All

My name is Joseph and I'm new to the community. I'm 29, Male, FL. I was originally born in Haiti but raised in Florida. I love art and i love wood. When i brought them together 2 years ago i fell i love. I currently hold a position as IT director at a local hotel chain in Miami. I'm taking carpentry classes at a local adult school. When I joined this class I realized there was a huge difference between carpenters and wood workers. I would like to one-day call myself a woodworker but today I'm just a newbie. Wood is my passion and it's what i do whenever i can. I'd leave my job and do it all day if i could. I joined lumber jocks so i could one day call myself a certified lumber jock and share the knowledge that I've gained to those who seek it. I'm hear listening to, and learning from everyone i make contact with. I'm everyone's apprentice and everyone's my teacher. Thou we are strangers now i hope to create long lasting relationship with my fellow wood lovers.

    Thank you EVERYONE

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless
