I recently had an opportunity to take advantage of what I thought could be an improved storage unit in the shop. A local office was upgrading their lateral filing cabinets and I had a chance at the used ones (all I had to do was pick them up). I thought it would be a good idea, since the cabinets are designed to hold a lot of weight and would provide some dust protection.

after a month of use, I really like them and it frees up some of my drawer space under my benches!

Great organizer – just be careful of what you store together in the same drawer and which flammables / chemicals you store above other combustibles. You don’t want to start a reaction cooker without realizing it.
