The BigAggie and friend had the opportunity to be on local Houston television on Dec 1. There is a local program that was promoting alternate Christmas gift ideas and we were invited on short notice to present a projects for display. Yours truly was the on camera spokesperson for the club. There were a lot of OH’s and AH’s from the studio audience. There is a link to the segment:

Outstanding work! I have wished many times I had those skills.

On another note, the wife and I will possibly be in Houston on the 18th to look at an RV for a fellow that needs a new interior. It would be great to meet up with a few wood workers while there.

Woodworkers club of Houston? Do tell! I am in League City and could use some help with honing skills… Not to mention the challenges and fellowship clubs bring…

dbhost,

The Woodworker’s Club of Houston website is:

http://www.wwch.org

We will be meeting weekend, the 2nd Saturday of each month. (Except for this January, the 3rd Saturday. Holiday at the Center.) We meet at the Bayland Community Center, Bayland Park, the corner of Bissonet and Hillcroft. We start at 9:00 AM and try to finish by 11:00 – 11:30 AM. The speakers this month are representative from Rockler and Woodcraft talking about their latest products and Christmas gift…

Dallas, The wife and I will be out of town that weekend.
