After four years of retirement I’m back in harness teaching ukulele making from scratch. Alvin teaches steel pan making. Jonathan (sitting at the front)teaches digital and Rodrigo plays guitar. We only work three days a week. This jobs fair is the first time I’ve heard them in performance. Unlike me they are proper musos, I sing to distract from my guitar playing.

The bottom of the barrel is set out, sunk to a deep bowl, the notes are then formed and fine tuned. The drums are fully chromatic.

History of steel drums (steel pans)-An Inspiring Story!!
