The slabs are dead quartered. I bought these mainly for building archtop guitars. Hoop pine is very strong and tough, enough so, I’m going to use it for back and sides on at least one archtop.

I broke the slabs down for handling ease.

Cheers Tony, it might be tricky carving around the knot areas but worth it I think.
