This poor old table was standing as recently as 3 weeks ago when I took the sunrise magpie photo by the BBQ. The white ants ( termites ) finally got to it and it fell over. At one time it was our kitchen table, a veranda table and at the end, a BBQ table. The glass has close to 24 years of honest wear and I’m very happy it didn’t break.

The new table will be in white oak with a ” Leo Fender Foot ” I’ve been fooling around with for awhile. All slot mortised, hand planed and carved. The mock up is rough as bags but serves its purpose.!

For a one off it’s easier to go galoot.

Mock up mid rail 40mm, oak rail 50mm

Different feet, all quickies.

Bathroom mirror table, legs right off the bandsaw, white paint, flat head nails.

Catchall, borg pine, white paint.

I missed this… shows a bit of how the texture was produced. Good lessons in your art Bill, thanks.
