thoughts on cutting boards

Before coming to LJ I had no idea of the work being done with cutting boards. If I lived closer to the source, I would have a small collection to hang on the wall.

Some of mine.

Two users and a benchtop I’m antiquing.

32mm bamboo ply. I won’t cut on this because of the glue content.

Bass neck off-cuts. I didn’t continue the light / dark edging, it has problems. It’s now a drinks tray.

More bass neck foolery

The drinks tray led to this drop leaf.

Either a mitre or rebate joint.

Qld Wattle from my property. I very rarely do bark nouveau, it works for me here.

Beautiful work Bill. The bamboo ply is particularly striking.

Nice work. But I absolutely can’t get enough of that bird! Looks like a real character!
