Dressing A Cupped Bench Top

My bench top cupped, enough that a 3mm MDF packer was needed on the tail vise to plane a short piece. This job has been on the back burner for awhile, today was the day. A storm was forecast for the afternoon, I wanted to have some polish on the bench before the storm. To get the job polish ready was probably about one hour. The outside edges were planed with the grain at a setting of about .35mm, being careful not to plane the tail vise. To cross plane, the setting was about .25mm, again keeping well clear of the tail vise. Cross planed with a # 6 plane until flat. Scraped cross grain once. This is a working surface I can live with.
