« Part 2: Storage Challenges Part 3 of My Journey series no next part

So, in between running kids (or are they running me?), totaling 2 vehicles and subsequently doing the mad dash to replace each in turn, I’ve managed to somehow acquire a plethora of reclaimed wood in various states / condition. I also decided somewhere along the way that I desperately want to rearrange the entire workshoo. I began a couple of days ago with shuffling everything inside the shop around to make room for the lumber storage rack that I found. I then managed to get most of the wood moved inside. I am currently in the process of determining the best placement fir each of the tool stations and workbenches, not an inconsiderable task for a woman just shy of 5 feet nothin =).

I shall again attempt to upload some new photos soon.

Cheers

The crazy thing about acquiring wood is, when you don’t have any, it seems hard to find. Once you start collecting, you get more than you can use very quickly – but it keeps coming!
I’m in the exact same boat – a DIY kiln full of dried cherry, a tarp in the back with a dozen 10ft oak boards underneath, a giant crate full of more cherry and some walnut… AND an ever-growing pile of locally sourced logs awaiting my bandsaw!
