My 12’ x 32’ Amish-built workshop was built off-site and moved to my property. I finished the wiring and have finished the walls to the point that I’m able to use the shop on a limited basis. I’m still waiting to have power run to the building (have had appointments with two electricians, but they are always too busy for my little job). Right now I’m running a heavy extension cord from the garage and can use my power tools on a limited basis.
This summer I was able to get it stained. I built steps, the flower planters and shutters. Now I’m just waiting for power.

Looks good from the outside. I can’t wait to see the inside after you’re finished with it :)

Hi Teri
Your new shop really looks great. Keep the pictures coming when you get it all done. I am in the process of planning a new shop in my 14 X 21 garage. If you go to my sight there is a floor plan that might give you some ideas. Good luck with your new shop.

Hello Teri (that’s my sister’s name BTW)
Looks like you are making good progress on the inside. Have you finished it yet?

Very nice looking shop you got there Teri. I really like the way you have it all settled in and landscaping integrated making it appear as if it has been there for centuries.
Isn’t it just a good feeling ,as you are walking out there to work, to look at your new shop and sense that overwhelming appreciation of your very own “Workshop” ..
I am in the process of building me another one, larger one, now basically all i have is a hobbyman’s workshop. I make all of my custom duck calls out there for my side business but it isn’t large enough for a table saw, router tables, jointers, or anything of the like.
I’m somewhat envious of all of you guys, already having obtained or built your shops. Wow. I’ll get there some day i guess.
take care, Chris

Hi Teri,
I noticed that you came western SD. I lived in Belle Fourche from 1980- 1998. Owned the Chev dealership and later on the Ford. That’s a nice looking shop you have there.
